Nevada Rep. Dina Titus, a member of the Homeland Security Committee, recently sent a letter to Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas asking him to develop a plan to “proactively monitor and mitigate” the increasing threat posed by domestic violent extremists.
The letter is in anticipation of the Supreme Court’s upcoming ruling on the future of abortion access.
Titus said according to the recently released National Terrorism Advisory Bulletin, the number of domestic violent extremist incidents has been increasing.

"If you look at the stats they put out, its pretty compelling … to clinics and to providers," she said.
Titus said she hopes a concrete plan can be developed.
