Nevada Governor: Any Business Reopenings Will Come Slow

LAS VEGAS (AP) — Gov. Steve Sisolak said Thursday he intends to detail next week some of the criteria he'll use to determine how soon it's safe to slowly reopen businesses and relax other restrictions as coronavirus trends continue to improve in Nevada.

But he said in response to those who want to expedite a return to normalcy that he doesn't have any reopening date in mind and that any changes will be incremental.

Meanwhile, officials in Reno announced Thursday that due to improving trends they were putting on hold plans to move forward with a temporary facility at the convention center for 500 or more coronavirus patients.
