Governor Steve Sisolak has appointed Victoria Gonzalez as executive director of the Nevada Department of Sentencing Policy.
In an announcement Wednesday, the Governor’s office said Gonzalez will be tasked with overseeing and addressing issues connected sentencing of offenders in Nevada. The role is part of an effort to reform criminal justice in the state.
Most recently, Gonzalez worked as the deputy legislative counsel for the Legislative Counsel Bureau in Carson City.
