Henderson residents will have to wait another month to buy recreational marijuana in their city.
According to the Las Vegas Review-Journal, the Henderson City Council voted Tuesday to prolong a moratorium on sales that would have expired over the weekend – it will now stay in effect until September.
The hold on recreational sales applies to all five licensed dispensaries. The city council put the moratorium in place to allow city employees time to draft regulations for the new industry.
