The CSN campus in North Las Vegas is getting a new name to reflect where it is.
The Nevada System of Higher Education Board of Regents unanimously approved a proposal to rename the College of Southern Nevada Cheyenne Campus to the College of Southern Nevada North Las Vegas Campus.
It's a change North Las Vegas Mayor John Lee has been pushing for some time now, arguing his city's name should be on the college campus.
Changes in signage across the campus will cost as much as $17,000, with the money for those changes coming from private donations.
