LV Chamber Pro-Taxes? NSHE Chancellor On Way Out?

Is the Las Vegas Chamber of Commerce now pro-taxes?

And the Nevada System of Higher Education is under fire once again, after reports that the agency misled lawmakers in 2011 and 2012. So could this be signaling the end of Dan Klaich’s reign as chancellor?

And it doesn’t appear the fight over solar power in Nevada is over just yet.

Steve Sebelius, a columnist for the Las Vegas Review-Journal, says university system regents should start now searching for a new chancellor. He doesn't think Klaich's contract will be renewed after it ends in June 2017.

And the fight for rooftop solar is far from over, said Jon Ralston, host of "Ralston Live" on VegasPBS and columnist for the Reno Gazette-Journal. Elon Musk, who is building the Tesla battery factory in Reno, has put $3 million in to efforts to elect candidates who will make it easier for rooftop solar to exist in Nevada.
