Barrick Gold has completed its sale of two northern Nevada mines this week.
The Elko Daily Free Press reports the Ruby Hill Mine and a 70 percent stake in the Spring Valley project have been sold to Waterton Precious Metals Fund II Cayman LP in a $110 million all-cash deal.
The company has been undergoing cost-cutting measures to reduce debt.

Barrick also said that its proposed sales of two other mines – the Bald Mountain mine and a 50 percent stake in Round Mountain – to Kinross next month.
