'Black Lives Matter' Protestors Cut Bush Rally Short In North Las Vegas

The Las Vegas Review-Journal, The Las Vegas Sun and the Los Angeles Times report a North Las Vegas rally featuring presidential candidate Jeb Bush ended abruptly last night after “Black Lives Matter” protestors clashed with Bush supporters.

A campaign spokeswoman said the former Florida governor met with Black Lives Matter advocates before the campaign rally began at North Las Vegas’s Pierson Community Center.

An estimated 20 of 150 attendees stood and began chanting as Bush left the auditorium.

During an earlier question-and-answer session, Bush said he favored a pathway to legality for those in the U.S. illegally, but not a path to citizenship.

He left without delivering a closing statement.

Supporters of the Black Lives Matter movement have disrupted rallies and speeches of other candidates, including Democrat Bernie Sanders.
