Nevada is getting hotter

If it feels hotter in Nevada, it's not an illusion. An Associated Press analysis of temperatures across the nation shows the average temperatures rising, especially in Nevada.

The published records cover temperatures dating back to 1984. In that time Carson City has warmed more than any other city. The average temperature in Carson City has risen four-point-one degrees. Las Vegas was sixth on the list with an increase of three-point-four degrees.
