Giunchigliani Considers Eliminating Constable's Office

County Commissioner Chris Giunchigliani last month openly questioned whether or not the Constable's office should be eliminated. Las Vegas Constable, John Bonaventura has come under fire for deputizing two lawyers when the county refused to pay them for services. Bonaventura also caused controversy for allegedly trying to launch a reality television show about his office. Constables serve eviction notices and provide other legal services, so what would happen if the office was eliminated? We'll talk with Commissioner Giunchigliani about what she hopes to change.
