Puppies up for Parole

Every year thousands of dogs end up in Nevada shelters waiting to be adopted. Some of those dogs have problems and are considered at risk. The Nevada Humane Society has come up with a solution to help those troubled canines, they send them to prison. It's called Puppies up for Parole and in partnership with the Nevada Department of Corrections and the Humane Society takes at risk dogs to the Nevada State Prison to be trained as companion pets with inmates. We talk with an administrator of the program about how inmates are helping at risk dogs.
