So writes Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist Jim Sheeler in his book: "Final Salute: A Story of Unfinished Lives."

On this Memorial Day, we talk with Sheeler, who shares stories of notifying the survivors and remembering this nation's war dead from Iraq and Afghanistan. Nearly 5,000 American soldiers have died fighting in the two countries since 2001.
