CARSON CITY, Nev. (AP) — A three-member jury has ruled that the fatal stabbing of a 37-year-old man at a party in Carson City in February was justified.
District Attorney Jason Woodbury says the three-day-long coroner's inquest into the death of Clinton Malone included testimony from 23 witnesses and the review of more than 100 exhibits of evidence.
The Nevada Appeal reports that Malone was stabbed to death at a party in a residence on Woodside Drive. Woodbury says party-goers testified that they didn't know Malone and that his entry was without their permission.

The male occupant fought with Malone, eventually gaining possession of a knife and stabbing him to death.
