Nevada businesses that owing taxes will be able to pay them without interest charges or penalties beginning February 1 through May 1.
The Department of Taxation made the announcement Tuesday, saying the entire debt will have to be paid during that period.
Nevada's Legislature approved the amnesty program during a special session last year to encourage people and businesses to pay their back taxes as businesses suffered revenue losses due to COVID-19.

Liabilities could be the result of unfiled tax returns, past audits, large untaxed purchases and errors found in other returns.
