Las Vegas Police ID Woman Sought In Casino Child Abandonment

LAS VEGAS (AP) — Police have identified a woman sought for questioning after a 3-year-old girl believed to be her daughter was found abandoned in a Las Vegas Strip casino restroom.

Officer Misael Parra said Friday that investigators don't know where 26-year-old Mariam Ramos lives, but learned she was a frequent visitor to casinos downtown and on the Strip.

Ramos is accused of abandoning the child in a woman's restroom at Wynn Las Vegas on Dec. 29.

Police released a video statement saying the woman, who is Black, was seen on casino surveillance video wearing a blonde wig with a ponytail and walking with the child.
