Trump Lawyers List Of Fraudulent Voters Includes Hundreds Of Military Members

The website military.com reports a list of voters accused by the Trump campaign of “criminal voter fraud” contains hundreds of overseas military post office boxes and hundreds of places where military members were stationed across the U.S.

The accusations stem from absentee ballots submitted in Nevada.

By law, military voters may vote absentee in their home of record or register to vote in the state where they are assigned.

More than 3,000 uniformed service members voted in Nevada, according to the Election Administration and Voting Survey.

In a letter sent to U.S. Attorney General William Barr and Clark County Registrar Joe Gloria, Trump attorneys asserted the list of what they called fraudulent voters had been compiled after checking the names and addresses of Nevada voters against the National Change of Address database maintained by the U.S. Postal Service.

The chairman of the National Defense Committee told Military.com that he believed the military voters had been included in the complaint by mistake, and he has reached out to both the Trump campaign and the Republican National Committee.
