Southwest Airlines Reduced Flight Schedule By 40 Percent

Southwest Airlines has reduced its flight schedule by nearly 40 percent from peak levels.

The schedule between May 3 and June 5 shows a decrease of about 2,000 flights a day due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The company said it reflects significantly lower passenger demand, operational disruptions and the ongoing suspension of international service.
