Public Not Allowed To Attend Clark County Commission Meeting Over Virus Concerns

The Clark County Commission will meet Tuesday but members of the public will not be able to physically attend.

Anyone wishing to comment on an agenda item will have to send an email to comment@ClarkCountyNV.gov, making sure to include the number of the item.  

Essential county officials, staff and reporters will be allowed in the commission’s chambers. The meeting starts at 10 a.m. and can be watched live on Clark County Television, which is Channel 4/1004 on Cox Cable and Channels 4 and 1004 on CenturyLink. In Laughlin go to Channel 14 via Suddenlink. CCTV is also available in Boulder City on Channel 4 and in Moapa Valley on Digital Channel 50.3.

The Las Vegas Review-Journal reports that commissioners are expected to deliberate on a resolution making it easier to temporarily rehire retired firefighters if the Clark County Fire Department faces staffing problems because of COVID-19.
