CCSD Offering Loans For Teachers, Staff Shorted By Payroll Glitch

As it untangles issues with its new payroll system, the Clark County School District is offering some employees interest-free loans.

The Las Vegas Review-Journal reports the short-term financial aid is available to staffers impacted by the glitches that date back to January, and the district is also contacting utility companies for employees.

About 7,800 CCSD teachers have been shorted on recent checks, some by as much as $2,000.
