Glitch Delays Extra Pay For CCSD Teachers

Clark County School District teachers won’t see some of the pay they’re owed until next month after a glitch in the district’s new payroll system.

The Las Vegas Review-Journal reports teachers complained at the last school board meeting about not being paid for work beyond regular school hours, such as night classes.

They won’t receive their makeup pay until February 10.

Officials say they’re currently working on releasing W-2 tax forms in time to meet the January 31 federal deadline, so an earlier paycheck run addressing the problem “is not feasible.”
