Avoid Busy Post-Holiday Offices Warns DMV

The Nevada DMV is reminding folks that the Monday after Thanksgiving is not a good day to drop by.

With DMV offices closed four days from Thursday through Sunday, it is traditionally the agency's busiest day of the year.

Walk-in customers might want to use alternative services or visit later in the week, if possible.

The DMV’s website offers two dozen online transactions, including address changes and personalized plate orders.

The agency has self-service kiosks at most DMV offices and at 31 supermarkets and other partner locations across the state.

AAA offers vehicle registration and handicapped placard service at five locations as well.
