Drivers can now settle a parking ticket from the city of Las Vegas with a donation to Helping Hands of Vegas Valley, a non-profit that provides help to low-income and disabled senior citizens.
The initiative lasts through Nov. 16.
Anyone who gets a ticket during that time can take non-perishable food items equal to the fine to the Parking Services Offices.
