Report: Nevada Road Deaths Continue To Drop

LAS VEGAS (AP) — New figures show that the number of deaths reported on Nevada roads continued to fall in August.

 

KSNV-TV reports state officials say 22 fatalities were reported in crashes around the state last month, down from 36 deaths reported in August 2018.

Through the first eight months of the year, there have been 172 deaths on Nevada roads. That's down about 24% from the 226 fatalities reported over the same period a year ago.

 

The state's Office of Traffic Safety says Clark County reported 114 fatalities on the year so far, compared to 161 deaths reported through August 2018.
