Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders thanked Clark County Commissioner Tick Segerblom for announcing his support of the Vermont senator.
Like Sanders, Segerblom has pushed for causes such as the legalization of marijuana and criminal justice reform.
In his endorsement statement released Tuesday, Segerblom said no other candidate has demonstrated the same consistency and courage to fight the powerful forces that have deepened inequality in the United States.
