Standoff In Laughlin Ends With Officer-Involved Shooting

A standoff along the resort corridor in Laughlin has ended in an officer-involved shooting. 

The standoff began when a man robbed a casino cage at Aquarius Casino at about 1:30 a.m. Monday.  

Metro Police was able to contain the suspect in his vehicle shortly afterward, although the suspect fired several shots at casino security.  No one was hit.

The officer-involved shooting took place just after 8 a.m. 

Casino Drive in Laughlin remains closed between Bruce Woodbury and Laughlin Civic Drives as police continue to investigate.
