Parents whose children attend private schools on scholarships funded by state tax incentives are suing the state over a cap that was imposed on the program this year.
The Opportunity Scholarship was launched in 2015 and was intended to grow by 10 percent every year under the initial legislation.
But lawmakers this year capped the tax incentives at about $6.7 million.

The program provides scholarships funded by businesses, which get a tax credit on the modified business tax. The scholarships are intended for low-income families.
Three plaintiffs claim the cap leaves them uncertain about whether their children can continue to attend their private school.
