WCSD Superintendent Pushes Back Against Calls For Her Resignation

The Washoe County School District Superintendent pushed back against some critics who have called for her to resign.

Traci Davis addressed concerns over the district’s digital day policy during an interview with the Reno Gazette-Journal.

The district mandated students attend digital days in place of snow days, something the state then said was illegal.

A petition calling for Davis’ resignation began circulating shortly after that.

But Davis said the district is continuing the digital days but is working with the state on a solution.
