LAS VEGAS (AP) — Police in Las Vegas say they have finished releasing audio, video and written records about the investigation of the deadliest mass shooting in modern U.S. history.
The department said Thursday that after 34 releases of material since May, officials believe they have complied with a court order in a public records lawsuit about the Oct. 1, 2017, shooting.
Fifty-eight people died and hundreds were injured when a gunman fired assault-style weapons into an open-air concert from an upper-floor window of the Mandalay Bay resort.
Clark County Sheriff Joe Lombardo declared the police investigation ended in August without finding a motive, conspiracy or other shooters.
The FBI is expected to soon release a report including a behavioral analysis of the shooter.
