Longtime Casino Executive Bobby Baldwin To Leave MGM Resorts

Longtime casino executive and current chief customer development officer at MGM Resorts International Bobby Baldwin will leave the company later this year.

MGM said in a statement Baldwin, who is also the president and CEO of City Center will leave both positions, but did not explain why he is leaving.

The 68-year-old is the namesake of the high-stakes poker room at Bellagio and has also held executive positions at the Golden Nugget, the Mirage and Bellagio.

Baldwin became known to the casino industry as a world-class poker player in the 1970s. He was the winner of the 1978 World Series of Poker main event, and won four bracelets in his career.
