Las Vegas Shooting Videos Show Police Inside Casinos

LAS VEGAS (AP) — Police in Las Vegas have released more body-camera videos showing heavily armed officers in empty casinos and on neon-lit Strip sidewalks after the deadliest mass shooting in the nation's modern history.

The 30 video clips made public Wednesday are similar to others released in recent weeks.

They include officers telling pedestrians to stay away from a wide cordon around Mandalay Bay resort, scene of the Oct. 1, 2017, shooting that killed 58 people at an open-air concert.

The footage totaling more than 12 hours was the 23rd batch of documents, videos and police reports released since May under a public records lawsuit.

Sheriff Joe Lombardo declared the investigation closed in August with no motive found for the attack.

Authorities say they believe the gunman acted alone and was not part of a terrorist conspiracy.

A final FBI report is expected by the end of the year.
