Police Videos Show Las Vegas Strip After Shooting

LAS VEGAS (AP) — Police have made public 22 more video clips of body-worn camera footage showing gun-wielding officers encountering tourists on Las Vegas Boulevard after the Oct. 1 shooting that killed 58 people and injured hundreds.

Wednesday's public records release provided images of officers with rifles in parking lots, stopping motorists, advising hotel residents which properties were open and searching empty casino floors in the hours after the massacre.

Sheriff Joe Lombardo on Aug. 3 declared the police investigation finished, with no motive found for the deadliest mass shooting in modern U.S. history. An FBI final report is expected by the end of the year.

Officials say the shooting from a Mandalay Bay resort suite into a Route 91 Harvest Festival concert crowd was the act of a lone gunman and not a broad conspiracy.
