Elaine Wynn Asks Board To Examine Wynn Resorts Attorney's Departure

Elaine Wynn has asked the Wynn Resorts board of directors to examine whether outgoing General Counsel Kim Sinatra should receive severance pay.

Wynn Resorts announced last week Sinatra would leave her position effective July 15, but didn’t give a reason for her departure nor say whether she would receive a termination fee.

Earning about $40 million in compensation over the last nine years, Sinatra was the third-highest paid employee at Wynn Resorts last year.

Sinatra may have violated fiduciary duty by not notifying the board of a sexual harassment lawsuit with the company’s former CEO Steve Wynn.

Elaine Wynn is the largest shareholder in Wynn Resorts, owning just over eight percent of the company.
