Changes include removing a ban on clothing items that “promote weapons.”
The Reno Gazette-Journal reports parents were notified of the revisions this week after a middle school student was told to remove or cover pro-gun clothing and his family sued the district, claiming the policy ran counter to the First Amendment.

The eighth-grader’s father is a military veteran and former law enforcement officer, and his mother is a police dispatcher.
