Former Assemblyman Suspends Campaign For School Board Seat

A former state assemblyman seeking a seat on the Clark County School Board suspended his campaign.

David Gardner was a Republican assemblyman in the 2015 legislative session, and helped sponsor the Clark County School District reorganization bill.

He was the first to announce his intention to run for the District F seat on the CCSD board of trustees in August.

Now Gardner is taking a job as a senior deputy in the Nevada attorney general’s office. He has now endorsed Jacquelyn Trumbull for the position on the school board.
