Snow is expected this week in the Reno area after what’s been considered a slow start to the winter.
A mild to moderate storm front is expected to come through Tuesday, bringing snow to higher elevations and rain showers elsewhere.
A stronger storm is expected to move through Thursday and Friday, with stiff winds ahead of the front, and rain turning to snow for all elevations.
