CCSD Teacher Faces Felony Charge For Sexual Misconduct With Student

Clark County School District police have arrested an employee for charges related to inappropriate contact with a student at a magnet school.

An investigation concluded that Renee Rine, a math teacher at West Career and Technical Academy, did have inappropriate contact with a student.

She’s now being charged with five counts, including one felony count of attempted kidnapping and one felony count of lewdness with a minor.

Officials with the district said in a statement that once Rine is released from incarceration, her employment status with CCSD will be considered as “assigned to home.”
