Last Victim From Las Vegas Mass Shooting Leaves Hospital

LAS VEGAS (AP) — The last victim hospitalized from the mass shooting at a Las Vegas country music festival has been released from the hospital.

Four hospital systems reported receiving more than 600 victims related to the Oct. 1 concert, the scene of the worst mass shooting in modern U.S. history where a gunman killed 58 people.

The Las Vegas Sun reports the last patient was discharged Friday from Sunrise Hospital & Medical Center.

Sunrise Hospital's chief operating officer Alan Keesee says the hospital saw 212 patients and just over half of those patients had gunshot wounds.

Keesee says it was emotional each time a patient left the hospital and said goodbye to staff.
