Reno and Sparks city council members say the Washoe County School District is not being honest about its building plans for a new high school.
The Reno Gazette-Journal reports councilmen Paul McKenzie of Reno and Ed Lawson of Sparks raised questions Wednesday at a town hall meeting about the proposal to build on the Wildcreek Golf Course.
They predict the construction will cost 300 percent more than official projections. The group Save Wildcreek hosted the meeting.
