Gaming Control Board Deploying Officers To Improve Strip Safety

The state Gaming Control Board is stepping in to help with the investigation of the mass shooting on the Las Vegas Strip and will deploy plainclothes officers at Strip casinos as a safety measure.

The Las Vegas Review-Journal reports Control Board Chairman A.G. Burnett said yesterday the board has sent officers from its enforcement division who usually work undercover to spot casino cheats and illegal play.

Burnett also said the board is looking at databases to find any information on gunman Stephen Paddock.
