The Nevada Department of Taxation’s director has ruled liquor distributors should not have sole privileges to distribute recreational marijuana.
The Nevada Independent reports Deonne Contine made the determination after a three-hour hearing.
This decision will enable the agency to go through dozens of applications that non-liquor businesses have filed. She says it could take as little as a week to approve some applications.
