Marijuana Bills Skate Through Senate

As several bills related to recreational marijuana made their way out of the senate yesterday to beat the deadline, Democratic Senator Tick Segerblom said Nevada is on its way to becoming a leader in the nation’s cannabis industry.

Segerblom led the charge on sponsoring recreational marijuana regulation in the senate.

SB 375 advocates for tribes rights to establish marijuana facilities, SB 344 aims to protect children from appealing packaging, SB 236 allows businesses to apply for a license for use of marijuana on their property, and SB 374 – which would allow medical providers to recommend medical marijuana to patients with opioid addictions.
