Faraday Faces Lawsuit Over CES Presentation

Embattled car manufacturer Faraday Future has been hit with a lawsuit stemming over its presentation at CES earlier this month.

Automotive news website Jalopnik reports a company contracted to design parts of the FF 91 car rollout at CES has not been paid in full for its work.

The Mill Group signed a deal for a $1.82 million contract, but has only been paid $20,000, according to the suit.

It's another piece of bad publicity for the Chinese-backed, California-based company that's setting up shop in North Las Vegas.

Faraday halted construction of its assembly factory at the Apex Industrial Park last year, with no timetable for resumption, but still presented a prototype of its car at CES a few weeks ago.
