Democratic Senate candidate Catherine Cortez Masto is launching a new commercial criticizing her opponent's stance against abortion.
Masto's campaign announced Wednesday that it would be airing and ad called "Ten Times" in Las Vegas and Reno markets.
The commercial says Republican Rep. Joe Heck has voted 10 times to defund Planned Parenthood, and wants to overturn the Roe v. Wade Supreme Court decision that made abortion legal in the U.S.
Masto's campaign issued a statement saying Nevadans need someone who puts their interests first, and arguing that Heck's votes would restrict women's access to preventative health care.
Heck's campaign didn't have immediate comment Wednesday on the commercial.
Heck and Masto are in a competitive race to replace retiring Democratic Sen. Harry Reid.
