Gaming Control Board, CG Technologies Reach Settlement

The Nevada Gaming Control Board has reached a settlement with sportsbook operator CG Technologies.

In the document filed yesterday, the company agreed to pay a $1.5 million penalty after allegations CG did not pay bettors properly for their winnings.

The complaint filed earlier this year alleges CG underpaid bettors some $700,000 on more than 20,000 bets.

CG also overpaid on more than 11,000 bets by around $100,000.

Under the terms of the settlement, the company's CEO will step down at the end of August.

The Nevada Gaming Commission still needs to sign off on the agreed settlement before it becomes effective.
