Clark County School Board President Tells Older Schools To "Chill Out" About AC Failures

The Clark County School Board president surprised West Las Vegas residents when she said failing air conditioning systems are just a thing older schools have to deal with.

The Las Vegas Review-Journal reports during a candidate forum earlier this week, district C Trustee Linda Young made the remark in response to a question from a Kelly Elementary School teacher who expressed concern about the campus’s multiple climate control breakdowns.

In the most recent failure Tuesday, the backup chiller also broke. A contractor made repairs overnight.
