Elko's department of parks and recreation is looking to build a sports complex.
The Elko Daily Free Press reports construction is set to begin this summer, and the city is asking for bids for the complex' construction.
Elko projects the project will cost around $10 million.

Of that, $7 million will come from a bond issue Elko put forward in the fall, and the remainder is being sought through private donations.
