LAS VEGAS (AP) — Authorities have released the identities of a Las Vegas woman and her son shot dead by a neighbor who then turned the gun on himself.
The Clark County Coroner's Office said Sunday that 39-year-old Jennifer Bagley died from a gunshot wound and 8-year-old Lex Donoso died from more than one.
Office spokeswoman Jennifer Jacobs says she did not yet have the shooter's identity.
Police say a neighbor shot and killed Bagley on Friday morning and snatched Donoso.
Police say Bagley's daughter ran to a neighbor's for help.
Responding officers found Bagley dead at her front door but retrieved an unharmed toddler from the home.
They then found the gunman and the boy dead in the man's home two doors away.
Investigators are trying to determine a motive.
