Sen. Rand Paul Rallying In Las Vegas On Tour Of Key States

LAS VEGAS (AP) — Republican U.S. Sen. Rand Paul is coming to Las Vegas on a tour of key states for his presidential bid.

Saturday's hour-long rally starting at noon at the Desert Vista Community Center in Las Vegas will mark the last stop of his "Stand with Rand" tour.

Paul launched his 2016 campaign Tuesday in Louisville, Kentucky and has since been on the road through some early-voting states.

The Kentucky senator this week also held events in New Hampshire and South Carolina. He is expected in Iowa Friday.

Paul is the second fully declared candidate, behind Sen. Ted Cruz of Texas, who was visiting South Carolina over the weekend.

They could face as many as 20 rivals before the lead-off Iowa caucuses in February.ran
