Las Vegas visitors lined up before noon at the city's mega-buffets to pile their plates high for an unconventional holiday meal on the Strip.

Charlie Miller of New Mexico and his two grown children weren't looking for turkey either. They didn't even check the menu before joining the line at Le Village Buffet inside the Paris Las Vegas hotel-casino.
The family of three wanted a non-traditional Thanksgiving and signed up for a 24-hour pass granting access to five buffets.
