Senate Democrats have re-elected Harry Reid of Nevada as their leader for the new Congress that convenes in January. But he will serve as the minority leader instead of majority leader, after Republican success in the Nov. 4 elections. Sen. He has been the Senate majority leader for eight years; that title will now go to Republican Mitch McConnell of Kentucky.
